Keiran is living in the Netherlands and will fulfil his life as a sheepdog and pet.

Jimmy-Joe is living in Spain and will become an obedience and herding dog.

Stormy is living in Germany and will hopefully become a champion in Agility!

Bud will stay at the Westcoast kennel to hopefully walk in his dads shoes!

Woow! Jess ran an open course in Ireland and did soooo well! She got 3rd place in Intermediate. We werent sure to run the full open course as it was such a big challenge for Jess and her lack of experience. But she did so great!

This weekend I ran Bill and Twm.

Saturday Bill had to start in the morning and we did well! Missed the x drive gate but got finished in time with a 92 score.

Twm ran later in the day and as we are still getting to know each other... He was right and I was wrong lol.. Resulting in first day score of 86.

On Sunday we ran late in the day. Twm had his first run and damn it felt amazing! Pity I did him wrong again by missing my drive gate... But we kept it cool and worked till the single. Results were a 92.

Bill ran late on a bundle of sheep I found hard to handle... Tried my best but wasn't as good as I hoped. Resulted in a 85.

Overall Twm 6th of the weekend and Bill 7th out of 48 dogs.

This weekend we ran in Heteren at the Llanfarian trial. 2 days Open class. 

Eve ran well and ended up 14th out of 53 dogs over the weekend.

Bill ended up 6th overall and Twm 9th!

I ran Eve and Jess to see how they would stand their ground in Belgium in a class 2 trial. Eve worked well, but Jess amazed us the most! What a cracker she can be!

Whoo! Eve 🎉 won the Nursery for foreign dogs in Belgium today! Super proud of the girls! Jess got 4th place! And only her second time out at a trial since she joined my wolfclub 😍

Bill had his first trial for the Winter Competition. Very hard conditions with heavy sheep. Weather was awful! Wind and rain. We had a good session in the morning end we ended up as the winner of our morning group. In de afternoon Bill decided he was too eager to go..so I had a big mess at the top of the field. We did recover after, but it cost us a lot of points. Sunday is the other group and they will combine total scores over the whole weekend.

Home bound from the Swiss Open 2019! Amazing weekend with beautiful trial fields, difficult sheep and lots of experiences! I've ran Bill and Eve. Eve her first big competition and she learned so much! I'm so proud of the little mouse! 3 fields and 6 runs per day per dog. 3 days of trialling and fun! Great company of friends with lots of laughter.

Bill and I were consistent on the fields and ended up 10th out of 75 entrants from all over Europe. I can't be more proud of him!

Thank you Ruedi von Niederhäusern for this perfect weekend! I enjoyed every second of it!

We have had an amazing group trip to the UK. We visited our beloved friend Edward Hawkins from Gipping Valley Sheepdogs  in Suffolk.

We stayed at a lovely big cottage with a great fun group of other enthusiastic sheepdog lovers. We travelled with 20 dogs! How cool is that. 
Would you like to make a nice sheepdog trip and join a group of sheep/ dog lovers? Let me know! And I will set up the best trip of your life!

Thanks to Ines Broes for judging at this amazing location. And Hugo Sas for providing all the delicious food and drinks for us.

Mick had his first trial today and what a joy it is to see him work! Specially on such a different field then what he is used to. Just 13 months old. He ended up 4th overall🎉! Eve worked like a charm both days and she won both days which resulted in overall 1st place! 🥇 She scored a 96 today! Both ran class 1.

Charlie and Bill ran class 3 and wow what a learning curve to handle with bad sound. First day we had a medium score which made me really happy. Today they both worked there feet of on this tricky course. Luckily they did so well! Unfortunately they had me as there handler🙉🙈! Which made me miss a gate or 2 😂.

After an amazing weekend we can look back at a good ending on the Belgium Open 2019. 3 Very big, beautiful but tricky fields judges by Simon Atkinson, Andrew Proctor and Malcom Metcalfe.
We had some good scores and some bad ones. Still over the moon with the dogs. We had an amazing weekend and can't wait to get out again! We are super super proud of Ed Hawkins for winning the Qualifier and the final: Belgium Open Champion 2019!

Charlie and I ran the 3rd world trial qualifier in Waddinxveen. We had a hell of a run!  It went great! 102 out of 110. Judge by Oscar Murguia. 
This means we will go up in ranking...one more qualifier to go till we know if we have made the team.

Bill and I came overall 4th out of 70 dogs and got into the double gather final! How cool was that! Of Course we didn't do as amazing as the experienced handlers but we did finish the course in time!

Friday we drove 1300 km to Zarautz, Spain to run in the Gure Sheepdog trial 2019! On Saturday Bill ran in the morning and we timed out at the pen. He worked well but got so hot we took it easy.. 73 points. Charlie ran amazing and scored 90 points which gave him the 4th place on Saturday.

Sunday we ran 4 sheep and they took out the shed in the course. One marked sheep to single off. 
Charlie got a rerun as his sheep ran off when I just send him out. Again after his rerun he ran so well and we timed out on the single. Bill had to do a single as that is the coolest thing he likes to do! And we did! So cool!!

Overall score Charlie 7th and Bill 8th!!!no placement but we did win the best shed with Charlie and big prize money!

The trial itself was such a fairytale place! 😍On top of a cliff overlooking the bay of Zarautz. Tricky field with a mixed group of sheep. Sticky on your feet but fast when the dog moved. The organisation did an amazing job👏

Last weekend I judged two qualifiers. 3 day trial with lots of dogs. Was a big pleasure to judge for the family Broes who organised an amazing trial with very challenging sheep.

We have had our 2nd qualifier for the world trials. It was so difficult! Such a challenge! Bill lacks experience in a field like that and was too far off the sheep to keep up before we lost them in the exhaust pen. Charlie and I finished the course in time...altho I did make some big mistakes, Happy we got this far.

Eve ran her first novice in Heteren. At the Llanfarian Border Collie location. She didnt spot the sheep the first day. And we got retired. The second day she did find them and we ran half the course! Proud of the little mouss.

Eve had her first big Novice classs (2) trial! She was bit unsure about the distance in the outrun, but when she lifted the sheep I was smiling from ear to ear! She is such a brave little fire cracker! 
Proud to have finished the course! And we ended up in the top 15 dogs out of 45 who entered from Germany and Belgium and Holland combined!!

We had such a great weekend at the Northernlake Shepherds Open class Trial close to home. I ran Charlie on Saturday as the sheep were so heavy to push, and if Charlie likes to do something it is to puch sheep. On Sunday we had better weather conditions so I ran Bill. He wasnt clean on the outrun and I think he gets all tense for goingso fast. But we kept on going and finished with a brilliant single.

Today was the final! Woow.. Every experience is one! The look back took a couple commands and I couldn't keep the line on the fetch specially with the 2nd group.. This resulted in missing my 2nd fetch gate 😢we timed out on the pen! Still very pleased with top 10 placement as such amazing handlers ran this final! Congrats Erik with Roy!!!

The third weekend of the winter competition was a big success! Charlie gained 3rd place on Saturday and went average on Sunday. This got him in the top 15 for the DG Final! 
Bill came 4 points to short. I had to retire him on Saturday due to wind and storm. He couldn't here me and kept on over flanking.

The second weekend of the wintercompition was a big success! The dogs worked really well! 
We had to do Big outrun, lift, fetch, maltese cross, drive and shoot. 
Charlie scored on Saturday 98/110 and Bill 87/110

Whoop! One more weekend to go. then we will know if we get into the final!

This weekend we ran the 1st 2 trials for the winter competition Dongen. 
It was a great field with pretty interesting sheep. Very very sticky on feet. 
We are looking forward to compete in the next weekends. 

Always good fun and great fields. Best organisation! Hopefully we get better in running too. This weekend was not for us.

​Swiss Open 2018! This year we gathered the courage to enter for this great trial. And what a trial it was! Seen old friends and made new ones and had so much fun! 

We planned on running 6 times on 3 different fields. Due to extreme fog we still were able to run 5 times. Not everyone was that lucky. The ranking is the 2 best scores out of 3.

Bill and I got a 15th place on the overall ranking list. Very proud of the young one as it was very difficult for us both. Charlie and I well... We had fun too lol...

This Sunday was our first qualifier with Bill. And it was a big one! Great big field with a lot of trees, Bill did an amazing outrun, we lifted a bit harsh but then we got the fetch in one straight line. When we were nearly at our drive gate where we lost sound and I made Bill cross. It was a good first experience...but we still have a long way to go to get where we need to be :).

We had a long weekend in Twente, Nethelands. 2 days of trialling for both of the boys! On Saturday I ran Charlie first and we had to retire. The sheep were running ducks and charlie and I couldn't get a grip on them. Bill did very well and ended up 5th place with 86 points. 

Sunday I ran Bill first and he worked amazing! We messed up our Penwork and then timed out on the single. He became 7th. Charlie got the sheep under control and we timed out on the single too. But happy with our 73 points and 12th place of the 37 dogs.

We had the best weekend trialling at the Ladies Only 2018 in Belgium. Bill and Charlie ran the Open class and it was such a big and difficult field! Wow! 
Bill and I ran out of time on Saturday at the single and Charlie ran amazing but we got disqualified as I asked him to give the ladies a little push... 
Never the less we went with good spirit again on the frosty morning on Sunday and Bill and I finished the course, Charlie and I timed out again on the Single. 

Super pleased with the boys!

Bill and I gained our last needed points to go to the next chapter for us as a team: The Qualifiers!! We are now officially allowed to run with the big boys! So Proud of him! Now we can learn even more!

Last Saturday we ran in Helenaveen. Charlie again not lucky and bad handling by its owner. Bill did well but we got a lower score then expected. Bill and I did gain one point. 2 more to go for both dogs and we can run with the big boys. Next month we will try again.

Charlie and Bill ran in Almelo for the qualifier Dutch Open National 2018, judged by Tom Huddleston. Unfortunately Charlie and I got a big storm on our heads during our run where I forgot to help him at all. Bill and I were bit more lucky and we finished 7th of the day.
After the Saturday group ran, we didn't make it to the top 16. But super proud to have experienced and see what the dogs can do and how they r growing rapidly!

After the Coontrial we ran Bill at the Belgium open. 2 runs per day with 2 different fields. 75 dogs entered and we were judged by John Pluta and Florian Djebouri.

Bill had a tough start with low scores but the other 3 runs he came back with fire and we did great! Proud of the boy and we keep on growing!

After the Dutch Open we went to run our dogs at the Coontrial in Belgium. Organised by Guy van Cutsem. We ran each day and the top 5 out of the two days ran in the double gather final.

Every year we organise the Dutch Open International Sheepdog Trial with 2 of my friends. Also this year we had another great success! Our 4th Dutch Open already!

Next year we will definitely celebrate our 5th year anniversary!

He was very keen that day and it cost us our points! But we finished 12th out of 20 and we were more then happy to have run in that trial!

We had a great trial in Almelo! The 'Walk in the Park' trial organised by Peter and Linda. Thanks to all the volunteers for organising such a fun day. The sheep made this trial definitely very interesting to watch. Wasn't easy at all!! . 🏅Bill🏅 won the trial today. First place. 🥇🏆Charlie and Meg had both one good run.. But unfortunately we were unlucky in the second run. Whoop! Congratulations to Marion van den Berg with Hint 🥈2nd place and Nina Kole with Tero🥉 3rd place! Brilliant! Well done all!

Sad news for us.
One of Emma her puppies was getting bit ill. Her belly got so big over the weekend, that we decided to do a ultrasound.
She had developed urinary organ failure which let to failure of her kidney.

We did all we could to help her but today we found out that there was nothing left to do and she was inoperable.

And with the pain she was in we decided it was best to let her go.

But we can't wait to meet them! So happy with this sweetheart! She is so cuddly and proud of her big belly! She loves to cuddle all day long if it was up to Emma. 
She loves being here and enjoys her time out with the other dogs. 
The weather is bit warm for her to stay comfortable but we keep her calm and cool so she will be fine.

Emma arrived at our place to settle in before she will deliver her puppies. We are super excited to have her here. We cuddle a lot with her and she is feeling comfortable and loves being here with our pack. Her belly is blowing up this week! We are excited for that.

Emma went to the Vet yesterday to get an X-ray for her puppies.
They counted 5 pups!

Emma started with 15 kilo and is now weighing 18.1 kilo...still some time to go! She will grow!

We are soo excited! Yesterday we went with Emma to the Vet for an echo. It showed that Emma is in Pup!

We have had a succesfull Saturday in the north of the Netherlands. Bill was unlucky with one stubborn flighty sheep, but he worked so well and got compliments! 
Charlie was the surprise of the day. He listend very well and kept the sheep quiet. We made 80 points and got a 3rd place.

With the worst snow storm we have seen in a long time. Bill and I competed in the Open Vaart Trial in Dongen, Netherlands.

Cold and windy, lots of snow but we did our best and ended up 3rd!

Last weekend of october we have participated in the German Open 2017! Great Trial set up by Anke Wulfes. Interesting sheep and very hard job for the dogs.

Bill had 3 scores and made it to the final on sunday. There we finished second!

30 September 2017 Bill and I competed in the Dutch National Nursery Championship 2017. It was a difficult course and a rainy day. We won the trial! Bill is now Dutch National Nursery Champion 2017!

Proud of Charlie and Bill! We had a grand course 23 and 24 September 2017 at the European Ladies Trial in Belgium! Class 3 and it was Bill his first time on such big course. Charlie and I timed out on the single yesterday and on the pen today. 5th place overall!!!!!!!!! Bill timed out on the pen yesterday and today we completed our run. Overall 6th place!!!! Out of around 50 amazing handlers run their dogs this weekend. I enjoyed every second of it!
